UV fluorescent lamp designed for effective curing of Loxeal UV adhesives, with 230 V/50 Hz power supply.

The Curing Time Of UV Adhesives Depends On Several Factors:

• the type of adhesive used (see our range of Loxeal adhesives)
• the thickness of the adhesive layer applied
• the power of the lamp, its wavelength range and the state of wear
• the thickness of the material to be bonded
• the UV transmittance of the bonded materials
• the distance between the UV radiation and the adhesive

Depending on these factors, the usual pre-cure time varies between 10 seconds and 2 minutes, while the final cure takes 60 seconds to 5 minutes. Under unfavourable conditions the curing time may be even longer.
