Lead Profiles
RegaLead is the UK’s leading manufacturer of self-adhesive lead profiles, producing in excess of 30 million metres per year!
With 13 finishes and widths ranging from 2mm to 22mm, we’ve a choice of profiles to suit every requirement.
Lead tapes can be divided into 3 categories:
Natural
Natural lead strips without surface treatment, over time they oxidize and take on the appearance of traditional old lead windows. These tapes can also be easily soldered.
Electrophoretically coated tapes
Regalead pioneered the use of electrophoretic coatings on lead, creating a unique manufacturing technology that provides a clean, uniform and smooth surface for lead strips.
Electrophoretic coated tapes are also suitable for exterior use and include Antique, Brass, Satin Brass and Platinum tapes.
Powder coated
Powder coated lead tapes are characterised by high scratch resistance but are not suitable for outdoor use. This finish is available for Chrome, Titanium and Gold tapes, plus Antique Iron tapes with a hammered effect.
