What if I don't have vector graphics?
For simpler designs, we can assess whether the provided artwork can be edited. In that case, please send us at least a high-quality black-and-white image.
The possibility of further processing always depends on the quality of the original file and the complexity of the specific design.
In what format should I send you the graphics?
We prefer vector formats, such as PDF, CDR, AI, EPS, or SVG.
If you only have the graphic as an image, please send it in the highest available resolution, such as PNG or JPG. We will then assess the suitability of the source material based on the specific design.
What dimensions should the design have?
It’s best to provide the artwork in the desired final size. Therefore, please specify the desired width and height of the design in your inquiry, or the dimensions of individual elements if applicable.
If you’re unsure about the final size, we can discuss the options together before production.
B) Selecting a Suitable UV Sandblasting Stencil

What materials can the stencil be used on?
When submitting your inquiry, always specify the material you want to perform sandblasting on, such as glass, mirror, stone, or another surface.
The shape of the object and its surface finishare also important. This information will help us determine which type of stencil is best suited for your specific application.
What is the difference between surface sandblasting and deep sandblasting?
Surface sandblasting is primarily used to create a subtle matte effect.
Deep sandblasting removes a larger amount of material, allowing for the creation of a more pronounced relief.
Information about the desired depth of sandblasting is also important for selecting the appropriate type of stencil.
Can fine details and small text be sandblasted using a UV stencil?
Yes, UV sandblasting stencils can also be used for detailed designs.
However, the result depends on the font size, line thickness, spacing between individual elements in the graphic, and the desired depth of sandblasting. For very fine designs, we therefore recommend consulting with us in advance regarding their feasibility.
What type of stencil is suitable for my project?
It depends primarily on the material being sandblasted, the product’s shape, the desired sandblasting depth, the complexity of the design, and the intended use.
The more information you provide when submitting your inquiry, the better we can assess the appropriate solution.
C) Order and Price for Custom Production
What do I need to include in my inquiry?
To ensure quick processing of your inquiry, please send us the graphic file, the desired dimensions of the design, the number of pieces or sheets, and information about the material to be subjected to sandblasting.
Please also specify whether you are planning surface sandblasting or deep sandblasting. If you have a photo of a decorated item or a sample of the desired result, you can also attach it to your inquiry.
What is the minimum order quantity?
We can produce custom sandblasting stencils starting from just one piece. We can also prepare larger runs according to the specific requirements of your order.
Can I order just one piece or a small batch?
Yes. Custom production is also suitable for small quantities, such as when creating a prototype, testing a design, or fulfilling a one-time order.
How is the price for custom production determined?
The price depends primarily on the quantity ordered and the specifics of the order.
As the number of sheets ordered increases, the price per sheet may decrease. We will therefore provide you with an exact price based on your specific inquiry.
How long does it take to produce sandblasting stencils?
For smaller orders, please allow approximately 1 to 3 business days for production from the date of order.
For larger or more complex orders, we set the deadline on a case-by-case basis. We’ll let you know the specific delivery date when we confirm your order.
D) Use and Storage of UV Sandblasting Stencils

How long can the stencils be stored?
When stored properly, the stencils can be kept for several months. However, their condition after a longer period depends on the material used and the storage conditions.
How should the stencils be stored properly?
Store the stencils in a dry and clean environment, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, dust, and the risk of mechanical damage.
We recommend keeping them in their original packaging until ready for use.
How long does a stencil last during sandblasting?
The lifespan of a stencil depends on its type, the abrasive used, the working pressure, the desired depth of sandblasting, and the complexity of the design.
The demands placed on the stencil during intensive deep sandblasting differ from those during gentle surface matting.
Can a sandblasting stencil be reused?
UV sandblasting stencils are single-use; they cannot be reused.
E) Do you need a custom sandblasting stencil?
Do you have your own artwork and need to create a UV sandblasting stencil with a custom design?
Send us your design files and basic information about the planned application. We’ll help you assess the suitability of the design, select the appropriate stencil type, and prepare a solution tailored to your specific project.
