We have added special laser foils for the production of sandblasting stencils. The foils are glued on the product, the laser engraves the motif and then the decor is created by classic sandblasting. The laser is thus used only for the quick production of the stencil. The final look is only created by sandblasting.

Why do our customers combine laser and sandblasting?
We know from experience that there are situations when laser engraving alone is not enough or does not bring the ideal result:
- some types of enamel cannot be laser engraved at all
- for some glasses, the engraving causes the surface to be chipped
- the sandblasted motif is visually more pronounced
- sandblasting can easily affect the depth of the engraved decoration
- the appearance can be changed by selecting different abrasive coarsenesses
- for strongly convex or oval shapes, the area of direct lasering is limited, whereas with foil engraving the motif can be taken further into the curved parts
- when decorating glass surface coloured with, for example, organic HGC colours , the laser motif can be less contrasting in some shades, while the sandblasted decor is more striking
If you use both laser and sandblasting in your operation , we will be happy to recommend the appropriate foil type for your specific application. You will find laser foils for sandblasting stencils in our e-shop in the relevant category.
