Glass beads are an inert and chemically stable abrasive designed for fine blasting, sandblasting, and final surface finishing. It is made from fused glass with a high silica (SiO₂) content, which gives it high hardness, a long service life, and gentle action on the treated surface.
Glass beads are ideal for applications requiring precision, a smooth finish, and minimal material wear —such as stainless steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, or glass.

Note: Glass beads are not suitable for removing larger contaminants, powder-coated paints, or deep rust. They are best suited for light blasting, polishing, and matting surfaces. Upon impact, glass beads do not remove material like corundum, but rather create micro-indentations that do not damage the surface—they actually strengthen it. The resulting surface thus appears glossy and less porous.
