GLASS CENTRE at the Secondary art-industrial glass school in Valašské Meziříčí is expanding its possibilities in the area of cooperation with companies and industrial enterprises in the field of laboratory measurements. Within the framework of the KASKLO IV project, the school acquired a universal test tearing machine TESTOMETRIC X500-50 for measuring the compressive and flexural strength of glass.
Technical specification of the TESTOMETRIC X500-50:
Maximum test force: | 50 kN |
Sensor measurement accuracy: | 0,5 - 1/1000 nominal values |
Vertical height of the working area: | 1150 mm |
Test speed range: | min. 0,00001 - max. 1000 mm/min. |
Maximum power at full speed: | 50 kN |
Maximum speed at maximum force: | 1000 mm/min. |
Data capture rate: | 1 kHz |
Temperature of the working environment: | -10 to + 40 °C |
Possible strain gauge sensors: | 5 N, 10 N, 20 N, 100 N, 500 N |
1 kN, 2.5 kN, 3 kN, 5 kN, 10 kN, 20 kN, 25 kN, 30 kN, 50 kN |
Main features of the device
- fully digital test system with high precision control thanks to automated control of test methods.
- precise crossbar control by AC servo drive with maintenance-free motor. 23-bit position control
- high-speed data acquisition from up to 4 channels.
- force measurement (via software) is universally calibrated, level better than 0.5, EN 7500-1, DIN 51221, ASTM E-4, AFNOR A03-501.
Software:
Universal test program WinTest Analysis is a multifunctional and fully customizable software, that supports specifications of international standards including ISO, EN, ASTM, BS and national standards including Czech and Slovak.
Supported test specifications include compressive strength, flexural strength. In addition, the program includes user-defined testing steps for highly specialized testing requirements. Ability to perform multiple test types in a single report.
Optional units on graph axes (force, path, extension, time). Automated storage of all individual test data, easy export to Word, Excel, Access and SPC system for improved presentation.
