As it has become a nice tradition with us, this year we also welcomed students of the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Valašské Meziříčí, who completed a week's professional practice with us.

Seven students of the second and third year took part in this year's course. During the internship they had the opportunity to get acquainted with specific technologies used in modern glassmaking and to try them out in practice.

The lessons took place in our training centre, where the students tried, for example, sandblasting glass using UV sandblasting foils. They gained not only new skills, but also a better idea of what everyday work in a glass company looks like.

The students evaluated the whole week very positively and so did we. We see the cooperation with the school as beneficial for both parties in the long term and we are pleased with the interest of the young generation in the glass craft.

We thank the students for their commitment and the school for their trust. We are already looking forward to the next year and new faces with a desire to create.
