Nano protective glass varnish: How does it work and why use it?

The nano protective glass varnish creates a thin invisible layer that repels water, reduces dirt build-up and makes cleaning easier. Thanks to nanotechnology, glass gets protection against water spots, minor scratches and bacteria.

How does it work?

Nano glass varnish works on the principle of nanotechnology, which creates a thin, invisible protective layer on the glass surface. This layer has several key properties that contribute to the effectiveness of the paint itself:

  • Hydrophobic effects: NANO varnish repels water, which means that water droplets remain as droplets on the glass surface and are easily washed away. This helps to improve visibility in the rain (especially with automotive glass) while protecting the surface from water spots.
  • Resistance to dirt: NANO vsrtva reduces the adhesion of dirt such as dust, oil or mineral contaminants, making the glass easier to clean and extending its life.
  • Scratch protection: although NANO is not completely scratch-proof, it still increases the resistance of the glass to minor scratches and mechanical damage.
  • Easy maintenance.
  • Bacterial barrier: thanks to the NANO barrier on the surface, viruses and bacteria cannot get trapped and survive - they die very quickly.

Application Procedure:

1. Pre-cleaning the surface - use GLASS SCRUB cream cleaner or LIMESCALE REMOVER liquid cleaner to pre-clean . Apply the product to the dampened surface, leave on for approximately 5 minutes and then lightly wipe with a kitchen sponge to remove any residual dirt and limescale. Rinse the surface with water and wipe dry with a micro towel. Repeat the procedure again if necessary.

2. Application of NANO varnish - Apply INVISIBLE SHIELD ORIGINAL (effective up to 10 years) or INVISIBLE SHIELD PRO 15 (effective up to 15 years) evenly using paper or cloth cloth, or by spraying with a sprayer or spray gun. After application , leave the product on for 5-10 minutes to allow the volatile components to evaporate. Then rinse the surface with water or wipe with a damp cloth. Finally , polish dry and shiny with a microfibre cloth.

Subsequent maintenance:

To maintain maximum cleanliness and long-term protection, simply rinse the glass with water and then wipe with a cloth or scrape with a rubber squeegee. For even more shine and to prolong the effect, we recommend using REPEL cleaner. This is also great for temporary protection of stainless steel elements, taps or glass surfaces in the interior - for example, on partitions, doors or railings.
