Bird-friendly glass

Glass collisions take a huge toll on birds every year. It is estimated that hundreds of millions of birds are killed each year due to collisions with glass on man-made structures. New "bird glass" regulations are already being issued around the world to mitigate these collisions.

Digital printing offers tremendous flexibility in terms of the colors and patterns to be used on the glass.

 

The Jetver range of inks are suitable for the applications mentioned above and can be printed on glass in position 2 as well as directly on position 1 (due to their extremely high durability and chemical resistance). Digital printing allows even complex designs to be printed while adhering to the standardised '2x4 rule' guidelines, which have been shown to significantly reduce the number of bird collisions, an effective way to deliver bird-friendly projects.
