After two years, GLASSTEC 2024, the largest European trade fair for glass technology, took place again, and of course we could not miss it. It was 4 intense days, with many hours of preparation and preparation. Dusseldurf became a meeting point for us with customers and suppliers from all over Europe and actually from the USA (hello UNELKO :-) ).

Let's recall what the theme of this year's GLASSTEC was for us:

Glass paints

Our mission with the organic, water-based glass paints of the HGC series (HGC 8, HGC 3, HGC SC, HGC 6) continues. Companies from literally all corners of Europe have expressed interest.
Ceramic paints for toughened, flat glass are our permanent feature. The construction industry has seen a decline, but new projects are in the pipeline. Our laboratory is busy. Architects and investors have welcomed our new possibilies in blue shades.

Protective NANo Lacquers

Steven Ohlhausen, owner of UNELKO, personally flew in to present not only their flagship Invisibleshield PRO 15 (nano protective lacquer), but the entire system, including the accompanying chemistry.

More and more investors and architects are interested in NANO protection of glass buildings.

Flame pretreatment of glass with silane

Especially when decorating glass with organic paints, the surface of the glass significantly affects the quality and adhesion of the paint on the glass. Thus, in a way, it also contributes to the subsequent durability of the paint.

Flame treatment helps to increase the quality of the decoration and, in the case of the application of a mixer for silane admixture, to achieve the maximum in the field of glass pre-treatment.

We now bring you the solution of a major company in this field, ARCOTEC. We like the fact that their system is modular. You can start with the glass annealing first and at any time in the future you can extend the system with a mixer for the silane admixture. A manual machine and different variants of automatic solutions are available. The burners can be shaped according to the nature of the product to be treated.

DYNAMIKI, a nice company from Athens

We work with DINAMIKI because we like their equipment for flat glass decoration. At GLASSTEC they brought, among other things, both a spraying machine and a sandblaster.

GLASSDECO SERIES

GlassDeco is a fully automatic flat glass painting machine. The machine can spray any organic paints or ceramic enamels. It is equipped with high-end electrical and mechanical components. As it has up to three separate circuits, it can also be used for spraying protective NANO coating. Thus you get a 2 in1 device :-)

GLASSBLASTER

GLASSBLASTER is a range of fully automatic sandblasting booths for flat glass. They are characterized by their solid construction.

ROLLMAC Rollercoaters

Roller application of paints (ceramic and organic) on flat glass, this is ROLLMAC. Their unique, one-of-a-kind design delivers excellent print quality with very economical operation (minimal ink consumption, quick wash = quick ink change, etc.).

This year ROLLMAC exhibited the COLORGLASS and GLASSLINE models. It was possible to test both on site. At the end of each day, it was possible to see how easily and quickly the machine could be washed.
