BACTERIA, MICROORGANISMS AND CORONA VIRUSES

Invisible Shield Original, Invisible Shield PRO 15 and REPEL® Glass Coating technologies provide durable "barrier" coatings that repel water, dirt, stains and biofilms, treating and protecting glass and other surfaces from corrosion, scratches, pitting and good adhesion associated with subsequent biofilm and microbial growth.

Glass surfaces have microscopic pores that trap water, organic and inorganic dirt, minerals, pollution and biofilms that contain various microorganisms. Fallout from airborne contaminants, mud, stains, fingerprints, minerals and contaminants accumulate on glass and present a difficult cleaning problem. Sediments, stains and films can be a "breeding ground" for variety of microorganisms or pathogens that can contaminate the surface or permanently damgage the glass.

Invisible Shield and REPEL Glass Coating seals the microscopic pores of glass with a covalent "molecularly" adhered coating that resists visible dirt, stains, grime and contamination for easier cleaning, enhanced performace and improved surface hygiene. The coating eliminates moisture and nutrients necessary for microbes/pathogens to survive on glass and other surfaces.

The MICROCHEM LABORATORY (texas/USA) has also currently confirmed a benefit in the fight against Coronaviruses.

- After 30 minutes, 93.39% more viruses were deactivated on the glass treated witch InvisibleShield PRO 15 long-term protective varnish than on untreated glass.

- Glass that has been cleaned with Sani-Shield cleaner (3 in 1) – even 98.71 % more was deactivated after 30 minutes.

COMPACTIBILITY WITH SILICONES AND SEALERS

Glass treated with Invisible Shield Original or Invisible Shield PRO 15 can be bonded with the most common silicones. Tested were for example, DOWSIL 3363 Insulating Glass Sealant and DOWSIL 993 Structural Gazng Sealant.
